Services
Our goal is to provide the most comprehensive and advanced veterinary care in the region, treating large and small animals as if they were our own. At the same time we seek to bring added comfort to animal owners by keeping them well informed with regard to preventative practices, treatment procedures, proper nutrition and grooming, always remaining sensitive to the financial concerns of our clients.
Hospital Services
We provide medical and surgical services for large and small animals, including diagnostic x-rays, in-house lab work, ultrasound and EKG. We also offer dental procedures, breeding consultation and surgical services.
To keep concerned owners better informed, we offer daily progress reports on hospitalized animals. For updated information, please call after 9 a.m. or between the hours of 12 noon and 2 p.m.
Emergency Services
Emergency Services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
If your call is received after regular office hours, a professional answering service will page the veterinarian on call and he/she will return a call to you.
Please do not arrive at the hospital with an accident or emergency patient without calling ahead – we request this in the interest of helping your pet as quickly as possible.
Preventative Health Care & Nutrition
We believe in promoting animal wellness. Through proactive practices and nutritional care, animals live longer, healthier lives. Our preventative philosophy begins immediately with the first visit, with all pets receiving a full physical examination. Animal health is also monitored at the time of vaccinations, heartworm checks and other routine visits. Early examinations provide an excellent opportunity for the doctor to detect the onset of any serious medical problems and begin appropriate treatment as required.
For younger pets we often recommend spaying or neutering between 3-6 months to prevent health and behavioral problems as well as unwanted litters. With younger animals we aim to establish proper nutrition and eating habits which are essential for proper weight maintenance, performance and growth, and aid in the treatment of many diseases.
